After graduating with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Ngee Ann
Polytechnic in 2004, Ms Rachel served as a preschool teacher. An avid interest in the Arts
motivated her to complete the Certificate of Higher Education in Creative Arts from
TCA College in 2009 as well as achieve a distinction in Grade 7 (Trinity College
London’s Speech & Drama). Thereafter, she had grown as a drama trainer as
well as a preschool concert coordinator before writing curriculum to provide students
fun and meaningful literacy programmes.
Ms Rachel have also had the opportunity and pleasure of teaching English in a village in
TimorLeste for 1.5 years as well as creative arts (drama/dance) to children and youth in
Nagaland, India and Philippines.
Ms Rachel believes that the classroom is a place to make fond and motivating memories. Having a
love for the English Language, she is passionate to help kids develop freedom of
expression, self-confidence as well as to develop the social skills to work with others.
She will endeavor to instill a love for the language and equip your child with all necessary skills to face the new school year!
